St. Louis forward Kraemer makes college commitment
The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Van Kraemer has committed to play ACHA Division 1 hockey at West Virginia University. The Mountaineers, located in Morgantown, West Virginia, play ACHA Division I hockey in College Hockey Mid-America.
Kraemer, 20, joined the Jr. Blues this season for his second year of junior hockey. In 45 games this season the 5’11/175 lbs. native of Fenton, Missouri, posted 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points, finishing the year with a +13 rating.
“Van is a strong, versatile forward that possesses the puck well and brings a lot of physicality,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “West Virginia’s a great school and we wish him all the best of luck in Morgantown.”
Kraemer becomes the eighth member of the 2019-20 Jr. Blues squad to make a collegiate commitment this year.
