December 22, 2020

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending December 20, 2020. The divisional stars of the week are awards given each week of the regular season to the top-performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.

Central Division Star of the Week: Gunnar Schiffmann, F, Oregon Tradesmen

Schiffmann and the Tradesmen saw action once this week, with the St. Germain, WI native starring in a 5-3 win over the Power. After being held out of the goal column since his first game on Oct. 2, Schiffmann erupted for two goals and two assists — his first multi-point game since a four-point effort in his aforementioned season debut. After ending his scoring drought in fine fashion, Schiffmann boasts 3g-8a—11pts in 16 games this season.

In four NA3HL games this year, Asper has posted 6g-8a—14pts.

After a brief break, Bland was back at it in Missoula’s Friday win over Butte, netting another pair and recording another assist, marking his first consecutive multi-point efforts since Nov. 6-7. Bland leads all Missoula skaters with 21g-22a—43pts in 19 games, good for third in league scoring.
