Saturday Scores: Peoria keeps pace in Central with sweep

Missoula forward Mi-Kwan Tallman had two goals and an assist to help Missoula to their 6th straight win on Saturday night.

Wausau RiverWolves 0 @ Peoria Mustangs 5 - Joe Ambroffi of the Mustangs had a shootout, making 15 saves in the win. The Mustangs had five goals that were scored by Heath Drye, Tony Campise, George Giese (2) and Quinton Murphy. The Mustangs had eight penalties and the RiverWolves had four penalties. Wausau goalie Dylan Baker made 35 saves in the loss.

Sheridan Hawks 4 @ Great Falls Americans 3 – The Hawks picked up their 18th straight win with a sweep of the Americans. The Hawks started off the game with a goal by Briar Sylvester. Then Micah Serino tied the game up with a goal for the Americans. Jacob Cumming gets a goal and puts the Hawks ahead. The Americans put in two goals with the help of Brody Savoie and Micah Serino. Jacob Cummings of the Hawks ties the game up again. Finally Dakota Kott of the Hawks scores the game winning goal. The goaltender of the Hawks, Thomas Kuriscak, saved 31 of the 34 shots that he faced. The Americans goaltender, Vincent Marroni, saved 60 of the 64 shots that he faced.

Missoula Junior Bruins 6 @ Butte Cobras 5 – Missoula won their 6th straight game with a sweep of Butte. Kyler Garsjo of the Cobras had the first goal of the game. Then the Junior Bruins had three goals by Liam Bland, Pablo Frank, and Mi-Kwan Tallman. Nick Bradshaw of the Cobras had two back-to-back goals. The Junior Bruins put in three more goals. These goals were scored by Mi-Kwan Tallman, Gabe Gifford, and Cayce Balk. The Cobras had two more goals that were created by Randy Yeakley and Zane Cluphf. Will Hays of the Junior Bruins saved 42 of the 47 shots that he faced. Griffen McAndrews of the Cobras saved 34 of the 40 shots that he faced.

Gillette Wild 2 @ Bozeman Icedogs 4 - The Icedogs scored the first three goals of the games. The goals were earned by Justin Hayward, Luke McKay, and Kamden Sengheiser. Then Mason Hoffman of the Wild found his way to the back of the net. Declan Young of the Wild also found his way to the back of the net. Kamden Sengheiser puts in another goal for the Icedogs.  The Wild competed well but the Icedogs took home the win. Evan Wittchow, the Icedogs’ goaltender, made 36/38 saves. Connor Sullivan, the Wild’s goaltender, made 27/30 saves.

Long Beach Sharks 0 @ Texas Brahmas 7 - Levi Gho, the goaltender of the Brahmas, had a shootout. The Brahmas had seven goals that were scored by: Jacob Kalandyk, Matej Palfy, Luke Busher, Tyler Blanchard (2), Benjamin Mondou, and Micah Maldonado.

Texas RoadRunners 1 @ Oklahoma City Blazers 8 - The Blazers scored eight goals on their way to a home sweep of the RoadRunners. These goals were earned by Carter Eha (2), Noah Henslee, Gabe Shipper, Tucker Lien, Patrick Wyers, and Robby Rabroker (2). The RoadRunners had one goal that was scored by Christian Spearman. There were 19 penalties between the two teams. Oliver Charbonneau of the Blazers saved 17 of the 18 shots that he faced. Jaxon Taylor of the RoadRunners saved 30 of the 38 shots that he faced.

Rochester Grizzlies 1 @ St. Louis Jr. Blues 0 - Zach Wiese of the Grizzlies had a shootout. Joey Fodstad of the Grizzlies scored a goal late in the first period. After that there was no other action on the scoreboard except for penalties. Jr. Blues goalie Owen Carlson made 27 saves in the loss, while Wiese made 34 saves in the shutout.

Mid Cities Jr. Stars 2 @ Northeast Generals 7 - James Clark is on fire with the first two goals of the game for the Generals. Michael Fatta of the Jr. Stars put up the next point. Next Nick Wracker of the Generals capitalized on a scoring opportunity. Hayden Russell of the Jr. Stars also represents his team on the scoreboard. The third period was dominated by the Generals. They scored four goals with the help of Ben Pizzimenti (2) and Carson Asper (2). Espen Reager of the Generals saved 13 of the 15 shots that he faced. Sean Guerin of the Jr. Stars saved 37 of the 44 shots that he faced.
