NA3HL announces Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending February 14, 2021. The divisional stars of the week are awards given each week of the regular season to the top-performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Joey Solimando, F, St. Louis Jr. Blues
Solimando and the Blues hit the ice for three games last week, and the hometown kid was in fine form with three goals and three helpers to pace three St. Louis wins. Solimando bagged two goals — including the game-winner — on Friday, one assist on Saturday and put up a 1g-2a—3pts performance to close out the week with a bang. The 2000-born forward is up to 12g-11a—23pts in 27 games this season.
2nd Star: Blake Arneson, D, Rochester Grizzlies

East Division Star of the Week: Landon Boothe, F, Bay State Bobcats
Boothe was a force on the ice for Bay State last week, notching 4g-2a—6pts in three games after going nine games without finding the scoresheet. The Silex, MO native grabbed his first goal of the season on Tuesday, then put up another two tallies and an assist on Thursday. Capping things off, Boothe posted a second consecutive multi-point game with a goal and an assist on Sunday. With his first points of the season now on the board, Boothe will look to build on a hot week moving forward.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Dylan Rumpke, F, Yellowstone Quake
One of Yellowstone’s most consistent contributors, Rumpke was on a hot streak with three goals in two games against Helena last week. After lighting the lamp in Friday’s loss, Rumpke notched both Quake tallies in a 2-1 win on Saturday. The Columbus, OH native was tallied 19g-29a—48pts in 32 games on the year.

South Division Star of the Week: Tyler Blanchard, F, Texas Brahmas
Blanchard and the Brahmas hosted the Jr. Stars for one game last week, a game that saw the 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward post a second straight four-point game to pace the Texas victory. With two goals and two helpers in a 6-0 win on Tuesday, Blanchard moved to 20g-36a—56pts in just 26 games on the year.

West Division Star of the Week: Alex Kupka, F, Willmar Warhawks
After earning Star of the Week honors last month, Kupka was back at it with three goals and two assists in a three-game week for Willmar. The native of Trnava, Slovakia recorded an assist on Wednesday, then put up back-to-back two-point efforts with a goal and an assist on Saturday and a pair of goals — including an OT winner — to top North Iowa on Sunday. Kupka has points in each of his 10 games played, with 9g-8a—17pts in that span.
