Granite City forward Bartoo makes NCAA commitment
The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Braden Bartoo has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University.
Bartoo, 20, is in his final season of playing junior hockey, which has been spent between the NAHL and NA3HL this season.
The 6’1/180 lbs. native of Maple Grove, MN, began the season in the NAHL with the Minot Minotauros, appearing in 10 games. He then would join the Lumberjacks in the NA3HL in January, where he has appeared in 12 games and recorded 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists).
Bartoo spent the 2019-20 season with the Minotauros in the NAHL, recording 16 points in 36 games played.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL and NAHL, Bartoo climbed the ladder of development through the NAPHL, playing for the Sioux Falls Power 18U team during the 2018-19 season.
He also appeared in the 2019 NAHL 18U Top Prospects Tournament for the NAPHL West Team and the 2018 NAHL 18U Top Prospects Tournament for the Minnesota High Performance team.
