Division-winners Generals and Brahmas win on Tuesday
Jr. Hat Tricks 2 @ Northeast 10 – The Generals secured the East Division regular season title thanks to a convincing 10-2 win on Tuesday. Nick Wracker and Sean Gorman each scored twice in the win. The game was close through two periods as Northeast led 3-1 with two goals from Wracker and another from Tyler Ramm, while Nikita Kovalev scored for the Jr. Hat Tricks. Northeast then erupted for seven goals in the 3rd period, which included two from Gorman and others from Jake Hosszu, Payton Felix, Gils De Schepper, James Clarke and Braeden Kennedy. Nate Mastrony had the other goal for the Jr. Hat Tricks. Northeast goalie Espen Reager made 37 saves in the win, while Alex Fernandes made a career-high 75 saves in the loss.
Mid Cities 1 @ TX Brahmas 8 – In their second to last regular season game, the Brahmas outshot Mid Cities 80-12 in an 8-1 win over the Stars, which was the Stars season finale. The Brahmas got two goals apiece from Leevi Selanne and Michael Imala. Texas opened up a 3-0 lead in the 1st period with goals from Selanne, Padraig McEnery, and Cameron Colberg. In the 2nd period, Selanne added his second goal of the game and 22nd of the season to make it 4-0. Before the period was over, Aaron Best scored the lone Stars goal to make it 4-1. In the 3rd period, Imala scored twice and RJ Muckensturm and Alec Secord also scored to complete the 8-1 win. Levi Gho made 11 saves in the win, while Nahuel Veyan made 72 saves in the loss. Veyan is likely to finish the NA3HL regular season with the most shots faced and most saves in the league.
