Bozeman defenseman Fennell makes NCAA commitment
The Bozeman Ice Dogs of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects defenseman Kadyn Fennell has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Rivier University.
Fennell, 20, just completed his third and final season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’11/160 lbs. native of Evansville, IN, had his best career season in 2020-21 with the Ice Dogs, finishing 2nd in team scoring with 30 points (12 goals, 18 assists) in 39 games played.
Fennell was also selected to and played in the 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournamen for Team Apex, where he had one point in two games played.
Fennell split the 2019-20 regular season with the Icedogs and New Ulm Steel, appearing in 37 games and recording 25 points.
Fennell made his NA3HL and junior hockey debut during the 2017-18 season with the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts. Overall in 111 career NA3HL games, he has recorded 62 points.
Fennell also spent time in the NAPHL during the 2018-19 season with the Indy Jr. Fuel 18U team.
