Oklahoma City forward Korolev makes NCAA commitment
The Oklahoma City Hockey Club are pleased to announce that forward Artem Korolev has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Gustavus Adolphus College in the MIAC.
Korolev, 21, was the leading scorer for Oklahoma City during the 2020-21 season with 71 points (33 goals, 38 assists) in 40 games. The 6’0/180 lbs. native of Moskva, Russia, would go on to tally 7 points in 8 Fraser cup playoff games as well.
Korolev was named to the NA3HL All-South Division team and the All-NA3HL 3rd team for the 2020-2021 Season. He was the 4th leading scorer in the league this season.
Korolev also has experience playing in the NAHL for the Aberdeen Wings and Topeka Roadrunners.
Korolev joins two other former OKC teammates at Gustavus (Charbonneau and Philippov).
