Milwaukee defenseman Proskin makes NCAA commitment

July 28, 2021

The Milwaukee Power of the NA3HL are proud to announce that defenseman Mason Proskin have committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Lebanon Valley College.

Proskin, 19, came to Milwaukee at the end of last October as a free agent.

"Mason provided a steady and effective defensive presence for us last year," said Kevin Marion, Power General Manager. "He goes into the tough areas and brings that edge to his game that makes teams admire his game. Lebanon Valley is getting a solid defenseman, congratulations Mason."

The 6’0/175 lbs. native of Pittsburgh, PA, appeared in 25 games for the Power while putting up two goals and 4 assists. He provided a speed and physicality for Milwaukee that had an effect the full length of the ice.

"Playing for the Power was a great experience for me with a great billet family and making lifelong friends and memories in Milwaukee," said Proskin. "I saw myself improve over the season as I was able develop and adapt my game to the Junior level thanks to training with the Power. I can't thank the organization and staff enough for what they have done for me as a person and player as I take this next step in my career."

Prior to playing junior hockey in the NA3HL, Proskin played youth hockey for the New Jersey Jr. Titans and Philadelphia Jr. Flyers.
