NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending January 31, 2022. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Ben Oakland, Forward, Rochester Grizzlies
In his first two games of the season with the Grizzlies, forward Ben Oakland recorded 5 points to earn the Central Division Star of the Week. In a weekend series against the Milwaukee Power, Oakland scored two goals and added an assist in a 5-1 win. In the second showing against the Power, the Boise, ID native added two assists in the 6-3 final and Grizzlies weekend sweep.

East Division Star of the Week: Braeden Kennedy, Forward, Northeast Generals
Northeast Generals forward Braeden Kennedy appeared in one game and recorded 3 points. In the Generals 4-3 win over the Norwich Sea Captains, Kennedy scored twice and added an assist for three points. The South Boston, MA native has appeared in 29 games this season and has totalled 41 points (15G, 26A)

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Bentley Simcox, Forward, Bozeman Icedogs
Bozeman Icedogs forward Bentley Simcox totalled six points in the two games he appeared in against the Badlands Sabres. In the Icedogs weekend sweep, Simcox found the back of the net twice and added two assists in each game earning six points. The Camarillo, CA native has played in 38 games this year while scoring 17 goals and adding 14 assists for 31 total points.

South Division Star of the Week: Richard Indermill, Defense, Oklahoma City Ice Hawks
Oklahoma City Ice Hawks defenseman Richard Indermill had himself a weekend recording 11 points in the three games he played. In the Ice Hawks three-in-three weekend against the Mid Cities Jr. Stars, Indermill netted 8 goals as a blueliner and handed out 3 assists. Indermill, a native of Red Wing, MN, has played in 29 games this year and has totalled 35 points (16G, 19A).

West Division Star of the Week: Brett Reed, Forward, Granite City Lumberjacks
Granite City Lumberjacks forward Brett Reed earned this week's West Division Star of the Week after his two game performance earning 5 points. Reed started the weekend adding two assists in a 4-3 win for the Lumberjacks over the Willmar WarHawks. On the following night, Reed added two goals and an assist in a 6-2 defeat of the Alexandria Blizzard. The Crosslake, MN native has played in 32 games this season and has 32 points (16G, 13A) on the year.
