NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending February 20, 2022. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches. 

 

Central Division Star of the Week: Carter Watters, Forward, Oregon Tradesmen

Oregon Tradesmen forward Carter Watters earned this week's Central Division Star of the week after a two game performance totalling 7 points. In a weekend series against the St. Louis Jr. Blues, the Sun Praire, WI native netted 3 goals and handed out 4 assists. Watters has appeared in 43 games this season recording 41 points (19G, 22A). 

2nd Star: Hayden Shoemake, F, Wausau Cyclones

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Lycoln Bielenberg-Howarth, F, Rochester Grizzlies – Andrew Doran, G, Peoria Mustangs – Zach Dosan, G, Wausau Cyclones – Kaden Grant, G, Milwaukee Power – Luke Morrisette, F, Rochester Grizzlies – Jared Wisely, F, Peoria Mustangs


East Division Star of the Week: Landon Boothe, Forward, Bay State Bobcats

Landon Boothe of the Bay State Bobcats made a tremendous impact in the Bobcats 3 win weekend. Boothe, a native of Silex, MO, appeared in three games and accumulated 6 points with 5 goals and 1 assist while adding on a +6 rating. Booth, a NA3HL Top Prospect, has played in 40 games this year has combined for 37 points (21G, 16A).

2nd Star: Ben Di Fiore G, Bay State Bobcats

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Nathan Gileshammer, F, Northeast Generals – Jake Weikel, F, Long Beach Sharks


Frontier Division Star of the Week: TJ Norris, Forward, Helena Bighorns

Helena Forward TJ Norris added 4 points in the Bighorns weekend sweep over the Great Falls Americans. Norris, a native of Moville, IA, added an assist in his first game of the weekend, then in the next night scored a hat-hat trick. This season, Norris has played in 35 games scoring 10 goals and adding 6 assists for 16 points. 

2nd Star: Harlan Wojtusik, F, Helena Bighorns

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Caleb Cross, G, Butte Cobras


South Division Star of the Week: Mark Kurliandchyk, Forward, Louisiana Drillers

Mark Kurliandchyk of the Louisana Drillers added three or more points in the three games he played in to earn this week’s South Division Star. In a three game set against the Mid-Cities Stars, the Bobruisk, Belarus native totalled 12 points with 2 goals and 10 assists. This year, Kurliandchyk has played in 32 games and has recorded 52 points (16G, 36A). 

2nd Star: Brandon Shantz, G, Texas Brahmas

West Division Star of the Week: Luke Delzer, Forward, Granite City Lumberjacks

Luke Delzer appeared in two games for the Granite City Lumberjacks and added 8 points in the Lumberjacks weekend sweep over the New Ulm Steel. Delzer, a Rogers, MN native, added 3 assists in the first game of the weekend. In night two, Delzer netted a hat-trick and two assists. This year, Delzer has appeared in 4 games with the Lumberjacks and has totalled 15 points (6G, 9A).
