Rochester forward Wright makes NCAA commitment
Justin Wright played in the 2022 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.
The Rochester Grizzlies of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Justin Wright has announced his commitment to play NCAA Division III Hockey at Bowdoin College.
Wright, 20, a native of Hong Kong, HGK, has appeared in 89 career games for the Grizzlies so far in his two seasons with the organization.
In 79 career NA3HL regular season games, Wright (6’1/185) has recorded 31 goals and 40 assists for 71 career points.
During the 2021-22 regular season, Wright recorded a career-high 48 points in 43 regular season games, which ranked 2nd in team scoring. He also made his NAHL debut this past season with the Austin Bruins, appearing in three games and recording a goal.
Wright was also selected to and played in the 2022 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament in Pittsburgh back in February.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL for the Grizzlies, Wright spent his prep hockey years at Shattuck-St. Marys in Faribault, MN, where he appeared in 190 career games and amassed 99 points spread between the 18U AA and AAA teams.
That included three seasons playing for the Shattuck-St. Mary’s teams in the NAPHL, where he played in 49 games from 2017-2020.

"His development as a player and a leader will be a valuable addition to Bowdoin. We look forward to following his progress and know he will do great things in college and life."
Bowdoin College is a private liberal arts college that is located in Brunswick, Maine. The Bowdoin Polar Bears compete at the NCAA Division 3 level and are members of the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference).
