He played professionally for the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.

Cromarty began his coaching career as the Westfield High School Hockey coach from 2011 – 2014 compiling a 46-20-9 record in three seasons. During that time he was the Skills Coach for the Jersey Rockets Tier 1 and II girls teams as well as the Bantam Major AAA top 25 nationally ranked team.

“I have known George Haviland since I was 12 and he has selflessly dedicated his life to the development of hockey in Monmouth county,” stated Cromarty. “With the facilities the club has in place, from the weight room to the physical therapy, locker room and ice time, it was a no-brainer to start coaching again and join the Titans. I am excited to work with the next generation of Titan players and help them reach and exceed their hockey goals,"

“We are very happy to have Sean join our staff of elite coaches,” said Titans NA3HL general manager George Haviland. "Sean’s experiences coaching junior hockey, combined with his playing resume, he will be a great fit for our tier 3 junior program. Sean will bring high energy and very new and innovative concepts to tier 3 junior hockey for athletes to develop on their path to NCAA and tier II junior hockey. I’ve known Sean for over 25 years, and he is a very grounded and levelheaded person. Welcome aboard Sean."
