Danbury forward Devereaux makes NCAA commitment
The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Elijah Devereaux has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Manhattanville College.
During his lone year with the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, Devereaux, 20, recorded over a point-per-game. In 37 games, Devereaux recorded 12 goals and 40 points in 2021-22.
His 28 assists were tied for the team lead, with nine of them coming on the power play.
The 6’2/181 lbs. native of Webster, NY, played in all situations for the Jr. Hat Tricks and was leaned on heavily in the face-off circle.
He was also selected to and played in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Red team, scoring one goal in two games.
“To me, he was one of the best players on the team most of the year,” said NA3HL Jr. Hat Tricks Head Coach Tyler Noseworthy. “He was one of the best skaters I had seen and I think he was the best skater in the division, for sure. It’s no surprise to me that he was able to land an NCAA Division III commitment. He is a great kid and it was a pleasure to have him on the team this year.”
At Manhattanville, Devereaux will have 2021-22 FPHL Hat Tricks forward Adam Dauda behind the bench as an assistant coach.
