Helena defenseman Pollett makes NCAA commitment

Branwen Pollett played in the 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.

The Helena Bighorns of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Branwen Pollett has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Nichols College.

Pollett, 20, recently completed his third season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’9/170 lbs. native of Toronto, ON, split the 2021-22 season between the Helena Bighorns and the Oregon Tradesmen.

Pollett began the season with the Tradesmen, recording 17 points in 21 games played. He then joined the Bighorns right before the NA3HL Showcase and had 16 pojnts in 21 regular season games. During the Bighorns run to the Fraser Cup Tournament, he had six points in eight Fraser Cup Playoff games.

During the 2020-21 season, Pollett appeared in 41 regular season games for the Tradesmen and recorded 22 points. He was also selected to the played in the 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament.

Pollett’s rookie season in junior hockey was spent with the Coulee Region Chill during the 2019-20 season. In 47 regular season games, Pollett recorded 21 points.

In his three NA3HL seasons, Pollett played in 130 career games and had 76 career points from the blueline.
