Willmar defenseman O'Brien makes NCAA commitment
The Willmar WarHawks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Captain and Top Prospects Defenseman Brady O’Brien has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
O’Brien 20, Just finished his second and final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’10/190 lbs. defenseman from White Bear Lake, MN, recorded 37 points (5 goals, 32 assists) in 45 games played. He also made his NAHL debut with the Chippewa Steel, appearing in two games in mid-January.
He was also selected to and played in the 2022 and 2021 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournaments.
In two seasons with the WarHawks in the NA3HL, O’Brien recorded 56 points (7 goals, 49 assists) in 85 career regular season games.
O’Brien began his junior hockey career by joining the WarHawks for the 2020-21 season after playing for White Bear Lake High School where he also served as captain.
