“Sam was pursued via trade for a reason as we felt he could be a difference maker and sure things up on our back end after posting impressive numbers to start the season with Oklahoma. He came in and helped out Powerplay immediately and used his high-end skating ability to break pucks out of our D-zone, giving us the opportunity to get back on the offensive more effectively. The Chatham Cougars will be happy to have Sam joining them for the 2022-23 season,” stated WarHawks head coach Connor White.
