Butte forward Arver makes college commitment
The Butte Cobras of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Robby Arver has committed to play for Niagara University in the College Hockey Federation.
Niagara is a member of the Collegiate Hockey Federation (CHF) and Upstate New York Collegiate Hockey League (UNYCHL). They finished the 2021-22 season with a 16-4 record.
Arver, 20, played in 98 NA3HL regular season games over the past three seasons in Butte. The 6’4/225 lbs. native of Spokane, Washington totaled 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points while providing leadership on and off the ice for the Cobras.
That included 10 points in 44 games played during the 2021-22 season
“We are very excited about Robby’s commitment to play club hockey at Niagara University,” commented Kirk Golden, who coached Arver this past season. “They are getting a great hockey player and an even better person! It will be tough to lose Robby’s infectious positive attitude. He was a glue guy, and a leader for us, and will always be a big part of the Butte Cobras Junior Hockey organization. We thank him for all he has done for our program over the years and look forward to following his continued development at a great program.”
