Brahmas goalie Gilbert makes NCAA commitment

The Texas Brahmas of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goaltender Dolan Gilbert has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia University in Wisconsin, member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).
Gilbert, 21, spent the past two seasons playing in the NA3HL for the Brahmas. During the 2021-22 season, the 6’2/175 lbs. native of South Bend, IN, posted a 25-5-1 record in 34 appearances, which included a 2.37 goals against average and a .910 save percentage.
He was also selected to and played in the 2022 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Red team where he stopped 34 of 37 shots in two games.
During the 2020-21 season, Gilbert posted a 15-2-1 record during the regular season and had was 2nd among NA3HL netminders with both a 1.53 goals against average and a .943 save percentage.
“I am extremely happy that Dolan has earned his opportunity to play NCAA hockey and continue his education at Concordia University. Dolan has carried himself in an unbelievably professional manner since the day he arrived in our program and will be missed for many years to come. I am excited to watch his continued development, the campus and coaching staff at Concordia are getting a very special person who will be a valued member of the culture,” said Texas Brahmas General Manager Ryan Anderson.
