Former Bay State forward Skinner to play NCAA hockey

The Bay State Bobcats of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that former forward Ian Skinner will be playing NCAA Division III hockey this season for Chatham University.
Skinner, 21, played in the NA3HL for the past three years with the Bay State program.
"Ian is such a special young man," Director of Hockey Operations Anthony Langevin was quoted saying. "We had the privilege of having him be a part of our program for 3 seasons. In those 3 seasons, he always put the crest of the logo above himself. He's a shifty forward who is going to continue to tear defensemen up even at the college hockey level. We can't wait for him to take the next step in his ladder of development to NCAA Division 3 Men's Hockey."
Skinner began his NA3HL career with the then Elmira Jr. Soaring Eagles during the 2019-20 season. During that season he recorded 13 points in 47 games played.
During the 2020-21 campaign, he put up 11 points in 37 games played. Last season during the 2021-22 campaign, he put up 20 points in 38 games.
Overall in his NA3HL career, he appeared in 122 regular season games and put up 44 points.
