Cobras goalie Caleb Cross stopped all 39 shots that came his way for his first shutout of the season as Butte blanked the Quake, 3-0.

Norwich 4 @ Bay State 0 – The Sea Captains stayed hot with a 4-0 shutout win over Bay State on Friday. Norwich goalie Brendan Pellerito posted his first shutout of the season with 20 saves. Jacob Begich, Jameson Bain, and Sava Makarenko scored in the 2nd period and Cam Hultin added a 3rd period goal. Jacob King made 35 saves in the loss for the Bobcats.

Yellowstone 0 @ Butte 3 – Cobras goalie Caleb Cross stopped all 39 shots that came his way for his first shutout of the season as Butte blanked the Quake, 3-0. All the scoring was done in the 2nd period as the Cobras got goals from Tyler Tosch, Micah Williamson, and Patrick Crooks. Quake goalie Edvin Falkenstrom made 49 saves in the loss.

Wausau 1 @ Rochester 3 – Tate Cothern made 16 saves to lead the Grizzlies to eighth straight win in a 3-1 win over the Cyclones. Spencer Klotz scored in the 1st period and Grant Dardis and Connor Stoffel added 3rd period goals for the Grizzlies. Ricky Nelson had the lone goal for Wausau. Mitch Miscevich made 38 saves in the loss.

Alexandria 2 @ Willmar 5 – Braydon Buckingham scored two goals to lead the WarHawks to a 5-2 win over the Blizzard. Willmar led 3-0 with goals from Buckingham, Connor Garcia, and Owen Johnston. The Blizzard tried to get back in the game with goals from Ryan Hadland and Ethan Moerke, but power play goals from Buckinham and Ethan Dennis secured the win. Zack Ortolano made 25 saves in the win.

Mason City 4 @ New Ulm 2 – Colin Heland had three points to lead the Toros to a 4-2 road win in New Ulm. Hedland opened the scoring in the 1st period. The Steel tied the game in the 2nd period with a goal from Blake Biermaier. Cullen Hogan and Cal Levis III then scored for Mason City to make it 3-1. Biermaier added his second goal of the game for the Steel to make it 3-2, but a goal late in the 3rd period from Carter Newpower secured the win for Mason City. Will Kunka made 26 saves in the win, while Nolan Lacosse made 37 saves in the loss.

TX Brahmas 12 @ Mid Cities 0 – The Brahmas outshot the Stars 79-21 in a 12-0 win and got four-point nights from Adam Goldstein and Kirill Konoplianko. Trent Barker and Wyatt Witham scored in the 1st period. Michael Imala, Joseph Crowley, Colin Stow, and Goldstein added 2nd period goals. Cameron Colberg scored twice in the 3rd period and Konoplianko, Goldstein, Benjamin Mondou, and Witham all added goals in the 3rd period. Brahmas goalie Riley Gorman made 21 saves in the shutout.

Granite City 5 @ Minnesota 1 – The Lumberjacks moved their record to 14-0-1 thanks to a 5-1 road win on Friday. Hayden Johnson had two goals in the win. Johnson opened the scoring with two power play goals in the 1st period. In the 3rd period, Tucker Skime, Reed Hanus, and Jack Louko added the other goals for Granite City. Willem Kerr had the lone goal for the Loons. Xander Roberts made 22 saves in the win.

Sheridan 4 @ Gillette 13 – Jace Johnson had a hat-trick and two assists and Isaac Young also had a five-point game as the Wild handed the Hawks a 13-4 loss on Friday. The Wild scored two goals in the 1st period from Anthony Foster and Young, then added four goals in the 2nd period, including one from Johnson and others from Ryan Hipsag, Adam Severson, and Alec Waller. The Wild then scored seven more goals in the 3rd period, including two more from Johnson and others from Foster, Wylee Gladen, Saizha Norwegian, and Sky Solig. Makahi Sparks had two goals for Sheridan and Sam Kleiman-Lee and Ryan McKenna also scored. Cole Wheaton made 38 saves in the win.

Bozeman 3 @ Badlands 5 – The Sabres jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held off an Icedogs rally for a 5-3 win. Jack Walters scored twice for the Sabres and Peyton Wilson, Izaiah Phillips, and Carter Johnson also scored. Bozeman put up three goals in the 3rd period, which included goals from Dominik Hauer, Nate Brunelle, and Owen House. Brady Devries made 36 saves in the win.

New Mexico 6 @ Austin 2 – Jaden Stiller and Evan Axell scored two goals apiece to lead the Ice Wolves to a convincing 6-2 win in Austin.
