Tradesmen, Brahmas pick up wins on Sunday

Oregon 3 @ St. Louis 0 – Oregon goalie Walker Berner stopped all 29 shots that came his way for his first career NA3HL shutout as the Tradesmen stayed hot with a 3-0 road win over the Jr. Blues in St. Louis. The game was scoreless until the 3rd period when the Trademen opened things up with three goals from Marcus Mack, Cooper Routheau, and Max Rotsaert. Jr. Blues goalie Jordan Behnen played well in the loss, making 58 saves on 61 shots.

Austin 2 @ TX Brahmas 3 – The Brahmas came from behind to win their sixth straight game as they moved into a tie for 1st place in the South thanks to a 3-2 win on Sunday over the Ice Bats. Austin led 1-0 early on a goal from Sebastian Hale. The Brahmas tied the game with a goal from Michael Normore-Wells. Hale would score again in the 2nd period to put Austin ahead 2-1. The Brahmas would again tie things up with a power play goal from Alexander Cagan. Late in the 3rd period, Texas would net the game-winner off the stick of Michael Imala’s 20th goal of the season. Brahmas goalie Brendan Forden made 11 saves in the win, while Austin goalie Collin Lemanski made 37 saves in the loss.
