NA3HL announces monthly player awards for November

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its monthly player awards for the month of November. The Forward of the Month is Michael Imala of the Texas Brahmas. The Defenseman of the Month is Evan Axell of the New Mexico Ice Wolves. The Goaltender of the Month is Jake Turek of the Gillette Wild. Only players who are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the NA3HL monthly awards.

 

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month: Michael Imala, Texas Brahmas

Texas Brahmas forward, Micheal Imala was red hot in 10 games during the month of November to earn this month's honor. The Oak Lawn, IL native totaled 26 points in those 10 games scoring 11 goals and adding 15 assists. Imala has played in 21 games so far this season and has totaled 38 points with 20 goals and 18 assists. Imala leads the Brahmas in scoring and is ranked 6th in the NA3HL amongst all scorers.

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month: Evan Axell, New Mexico Ice Wolves 

New Mexico Ice Wolves defenseman, Evan Axell, earned the Defenseman of the Month after totaling 23 points in 11 games during the month of November. Axell, who leads the Ice Wolves in points, netted 10 goals and handed out 13 helpers while maintaining a +16 rating during the month. The Plymouth, MN native has played in 17 games this season where he has combined for 27 points.

True Hockey NA3HL Goaltender of the Month: Jake Turek, Gillette Wild

Gillette netminder Jake Turek was perfect between the pipes in the month of November with a 3-0 record. Turek not only won every game he appeared in, he also pitched 3 shutouts while only allowing one goal on the 64 shots he faced. The North Branch, MN native has played in 8 games this season with a 7-0-0-1 record with 3 shutouts and holds a 1.61 GAA and a.945 SV%.
