NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending January 15, 2023. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Owen Van Tassel, Forward, Rochester Grizzlies
Rochester Grizzlies forward Owen Van Tassel totalled 4 points in two games as the Grizzlies picked up two wins over the weekend. The Lino Lakes, MN native, scored a goal in the first game of the weekend then followed up with a three point game with two goals and an assist. Van Tassel has appeared in 27 games this season and has totalled 28 points, a 1.04 PT/G average, with 10 goals and 18 assists.

This season he has played in 33 games with 29 points including 11 goals and 18 assists.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Sky Solig, Forward, Gillette Wild
Gillette Wild forward Sky Solig continued to add to his point streak after appearing in two games to accumulate 5 points. Solig, a Warroad, MN native, scored a hat-trick and added an assist in his first game of the weekend, followed up by an assist the following night. This season Solig has played in 33 games and has totalled 50 points with 24 goals and 26 assists.
