Brahmas forward Witham signs NAHL tender
The Texas Brahmas of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Wyatt Witham has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL’s Central Division.
Witham, 17, is currently in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL with the Brahmas. The 5’10/160 lbs. native of Roseville, MN, is currently 3rd in team scoring so far during the 2022-23 season with 37 points (20 goals, 17 assists) in 33 games played.
“We are excited to add Wyatt to our tender group. He is another player that attend a pre-draft camp last summer as well as our main camp and has progressed very nicely as a young player in the NA3HL. Wyatt has a great skill set to go along with very good IQ and has always produced offensively. We look forward to him continuing that trend in Minot next season,” said Minotauros Head Coach and General Manager Cody Campbell.
“One of my trainers over the years told me that Minot is one of top junior programs in the county, so when coach Campbell called to tender me, it was an easy choice,” said Witham.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL, Witham played high school hockey for Mounds View High and also for the Minnesota Green Giants and Minnesota Loons in various NAPHL events.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2023 NAHL Draft.
