NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending February 12, 2023. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Adam Prokop, Goalie, Milwaukee Power
Milwaukee Goaltender Adam Prokop turned away 69 of the 73 shots he faced earning two wins for the Power. The goaltender totalled a 2.00 GAA and a .945 SV% with a weekend sweep over the Peoria Mustangs. This season the Wisconsin native has a 18-4-2-1 record, a 2.38 GAA and a .933 SV%.
2nd Star: Hayden Shoemake, F, Oregon Tradesmen

East Division Star of the Week: Matthew Nuzzolilo, Forward, Northeast Generals
Northeast forward Matthew Nuzzolilo recorded 7 points in two games to earn the East Division Star of the Week. Nuzzolilo went 1-3-4 followed up by a 1-2-3 game to help get the Generals to a perfect week. The Massachusetts native leads the Generals in scoring with 56 points, 32 goals and 24 assists.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Luke Schleusner, Defenseman, Butte Cobras
Cobras defenseman Luke Schleusner earned the Frontier Division Star of the Week after totalling 7 points in two games. The blue-liner netted 2 goals and added 5 assists while maintaining a +6 rating. The Mountlake Terrace, WA native has appeared in 33 games this season and has totalled 49 points with 22 goals and 27 assists.

South Division Star of the Week: William Carney, Goalie, Louisiana Drillers
Drillers goaltender William Carney led the team to back-to-back wins after only allowing one goal in two games. In a weekend sweep over Atlanta, Carney backstopped 61 of 62 shots, including a 27 shot shutout win. The Lafayette, LA native combined for a .500 GAA and a .948 SV% in those two games. Carney has appeared in 10 games this season with a 7-2- record, a 2.18 GAA and a .929 SV%.

West Division Star of the Week: Connor Graham, Goalie, Mason City Toros
Mason City netminder Connor Graham turned away all 41 shots he saw over two game’s to earn back-to-back shutout wins. The Fort Wayne, IN native posted a 28 shot shutout against the Rochester Grizzlies and then backstopped 13 shots against the New Ulm Steel. This season, Graham has a 16-4-0-0 record between the pipes with a 2.53 GAA and a.924 SV%.
