Milwaukee forward Nemeth makes college commitment

The Milwaukee Power of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Luke Nemeth has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Waldorf University.
Nemeth, 20, came to Milwaukee in a trade earlier this season with the Rochester Grizzlies. The 6’4/201 lbs. native of Ames, IA, has appeared In 29 games for the Power so far during the 2022-23 season and recorded 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists).
“I could not be happier with the experience I’ve had here with the Milwaukee Power. I’m thankful for this opportunity and excited for my future with Waldorf in my hockey and education journey,” said Nemeth.
Nemeth made his NA3HL debut last season with the Rochester Grizzlies, appearing in 21 games and recording 7 points. Overall in 57 NA3HL games played, he has recorded 29 points.
“It’s always an exciting time of the year for the organization. We couldn’t be more thrilled for Luke and his commitment to Waldorf. He came to us halfway through the season, in a trade from Rochester, and has been an integral part of our team. His championship mind set, experience, length, and size has galvanized our lineup. Waldorf is getting a good hockey player and great human. We wish him the best,” said Milwaukee Power Head Coach, Assistant General Manager John Mitchell.
