Brahmas beat Stars on Tuesday, 6-2
Mid Cities 2 @ TX Brahmas 6 – The reigning South Division Star of the Week, Brahmas forward Joey Crowley, had a hat-trick to lead the Brahmas to a 6-2 win over the Stars on Tuesday night.
Crowley scored all three of his goals in the 1st period to give the Brahmas a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes. Seth Dragojevic scored for the Stars.
In the 2nd period, the Brahmas made it a 4-1 game on a goal from Sam Bailey. Later in the frame Mid Cities would make it a 4-2 contest on a goal from Austin Ferris.
In the 3rd period, the Brahmas would pull away with goals from Brentley Hennessey and Tayte Lusk. Luke Moisan would end up with three assists in the contest for the Brahmas.
Texas outshot Mid Cities by a wide 73-12 margin with Luke Romney making 10 saves in the win, while Cole Eckert made 67 saves in the loss.
