NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending November 5, 2023. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Reid Watson, Forward, Oregon Tradesmen
Tradesmen forward Reid Watson combined for 5 points in two games to earn the Central Division Star of the Week. In a two game set with Peoria, the Littleton, CO native started the weekend by netting a goal and dishing out two assists. In the following contest, Watson scored a goal and handed out an assist. Watson has played in 14 games this season where he has totaled 14 points.

East Division Star of the Week: Michael Locke, Forward, Northeast Generals
Northeast forward Michael Locke had a fantastic showing adding two points in three consecutive games. The Wakefield, MA native dished out two assists in each game he played over the weekend to total six points in three games. Locke leads the Generals in scoring this season with 15 points.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Keegan Strong, Goalie, Butte Irish
Keegan Strong played a pivotal role in Butte’s 3-2 win over the Bozeman Ice Dogs on Saturday. The Homer, AK netminder faced 40 shots and made 38 saves in the win. That included stopping all seven Bozeman shooters in the shootout. Strong finished the night with a 1.84 GAA and a .949 SV%. Strong has played in 5 games this season with a 2-3-1 record, 4.33 GAA and a .923 SV%.

South Division Star of the Week: Philip O’Neil, Goalie, El Paso Rhinos
Goaltender Philip O’Neil was fantastic in the game he appeared in over the weekend to earn the South Division Star of the Week. Facing the second best in the South, the Texas Brahmas, O’Neil took the win in net after turning away 28 of 29 shots. The Belcamp, MD native combined for a 1.00 GAA and .966 SV%.

West Division Star of the Week: Hayden Johnson, Forward, Granite City Lumberjacks
Granite City forward Hayden Johnson totaled 5 points in two games to take the title as West Division Star of the Week. Johnson started the weekend adding a goal and handing out three assists. In the following showing, the Little Falls, MN native scored a goal and dished out an assist. Johnson has appeared in 15 games this season and has totalled 15 points.
