NA3HL announces monthly player awards for January

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its monthly player awards for the month of December. The Forward of the Month is Isaac Young of the Gillette Wild. The Defenseman of the Month is Joe Greniuk of the Granite City LumberjacksThe Goaltender of the Month is Tyler Fromolz of the Oregon Tradesmen. 

Only players who are nominated by their respective teams are considered for the NA3HL monthly awards.

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month: Isaac Young, Gillette Wild

Gillette forward Isaac Young owned the month of January with his stellar performance in the 8 games he played in. The Fergus Falls, MN native combined for a jaw-dropping 24 points with 9 goals and 15 assists. Young, 20, sits second in the NA3HL in scoring with 63 points in 31 games played.

Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month: Joe Greniuk, Granite City Lumberjacks

Lumberjacks defenseman Joe Greniuk was fantastic in the month of January where he played in 9 games. The Elk River, MN native combined for 12 points over the month with 3 goals and 9 assists, averaging 1.71 points per game and a +10 rating. Greniuk, 21, has played in 34 games where he’s totalled 23 points.

True Hockey NA3HL Goaltender of the Month: Tyler Fromolz, Oregon Tradesmen

Tradesmen netminder Tyler Fromolz was strong in the crease over the month of January where he ended the month with a perfect 4-0 record. The Waupun, WI native played over 220 minutes during January, stopping 115 of the 120 shots he faced. Fromolz posted a 1.25 goals against average and a .960 save percentage. Fromolz has played in 17 games this season and holds a record of 11-3-1-0 with a 2.99 GAA and a .913 SV%.
