February 21, 2012

Another day is in the books of the 3HL East Showcase and Day 3 was a day for the East Division to flex their muscles.  All for teams for the East won their games against the four teams from the North Division on Day 3 and here is a look at the results and game summaries:

Metro 8 vs. Battle Creek 3 – The Jr. Revs fired off 33 shots on goal, but Metro fired 51 in an 8-3 win.  Trevor Bardallis had three points as did Doug Andrews.  Metro jumped out to 3-0 lead.  Battle Creek scored the next two to draw within 3-2, but that would as close as the Revs would get as Metro scored three goals in a three minute span in the 2nd period, which included a power play goal from Andrews and a shorthanded goal from Bardallis.  Two more goals put the game away in the 3rd period for the Jets.
