Chicago Jr. Bulldogs 0 @ Topeka Capitals 5: Mike McElroy took advantage of his first start of the season stopping 24 shots to earn the shutout and a 5-0 victory over the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs. Forward Nick Manney had three assists and five different Capitals scored goals in the victory. The Topeka offense peppered the Jr. Bulldogs goalie Michael Krch with shots all day. Krch ended up with 47 saves in a losing effort. Boxscore

Dallas Jr. Stars 10 @ Sugar Land Imperials 3: The Dallas Jr. Stars took it to the hometown Sugar Land Imperials, as they put up 10 goals in a winning effort. Avik Bordak got the game going as he continued his point streak scoring a goal for the Imperials just four minutes into the game but it was all Jr. Stars after that. Defenseman Corey Burns broke out offensively for Dallas with a five-point game. Burns came into the game with just two points on the season. Dallas goaltender Link Ferch made 29 saves to pick up the win. Boxscore

Wisconsin Whalers 7 @ Cincinnati Swords 3: Dan Addie scored two of the four unanswered Wisconsin goals as the Whalers broke a 3-3 tie late in the third to take a 7-3 win over the Cincinnati Swords. Swords forward Andrew Bond scored to tie the game up early in the third period but the Whalers came out even stronger scoring four unanswered to win the game. Addie and Tim Tarvis scored on the power play in the third as the Whalers went 3 for 7 on the power play during the game. Boxscore

Metro Jets 4 @ St. Louis Jr. Blues 3: Kevin Shand picked up his fifth goal in as many games to give the Metro Jets a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Jr. Blues. Shand, who started the year with the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL, added an assist on the day bringing his point total up to 11 in just 5 games. This victory comes one night after the Metro Jets lost to the Jr. Blues by six goals. Zane O’Bryan scored a goal and an assist to lead the Jr. Blues offense. Boxscore

Battle Creek Jr. Revolution 0 @ Peoria Mustangs 10: The Peoria Mustangs gave their home crowd a show as they put up 10 goals in a victory over Battle Creek. Andrew Scofield and Sam Turner, who each had a hat trick and an assist, led the Peoria offense. Joining those two in the scoring was Nathan Chasteen who had career high five assists on the night. Battle Creek goaltender Zach Kooi had a rough night but still ended up with 49 saves in defeat. Boxscore

Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 8 @ Michigan Mountain Cats 0: Alex Buban notched a hat trick and an assist as the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks beat the Michigan Mountain Cats 8-0. The Jr. Lumberjacks used a big middle frame to take a commanding lead over Michigan. During the second period Buban and four other Lumberjacks managed to score a goal. Cleveland goaltender Tyler Jansen stopped 23 shots to pick up his first shutout of the year and his fourth consecutive win. Boxscore

Pittsburgh Vengeance 3 @ Flint Junior Generals 4: The Flint Junior Generals overcame an early three goal lead scoring four unanswered defeating the Pittsburgh Vengeance 4-3. The Vengeance started strong jumping out to a three-goal lead with goals from Cody Black, Michael Straub and Brennan Conway. The Junior Generals used the power play to their advantage scoring three goals on the power play with Trevor Benaglio getting an assist on all three power play tallies. Nicholas Gnagni completed the comeback scoring with 8 minutes left in the game to give the Junior Generals 13th straight win. Boxscore

Minnesota Flying Aces 1 @ Breezy Point North Stars 3: Joey Bergquist made 26 saves and Breezy Point scored three straight to steal a victory over the Minnesota Flying Aces 3-1. After a goal by Blake Anderson put the Flying Aces up by one, Crosby Steen scored on the power play with eight seconds left in the second to tie up the game going into the final frame. Goals from Austin Williams and Isak Larson gave the North Stars the lead for good. Mike Stumpf stopped 35 North Stars shots in defeat. Boxscore
