Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 6 @ Wisconsin Whalers 3: The Lumberjacks scored two goals in each period and benefitted from a three-assist night from Jared Johnson to beat the Wisconsin Whalers 6-3. Joseph Moza ended up with the win after splitting the time with Tyler Jansen and stopping 39 Whalers shots at the end of the night. Twin City Steel 2 @ Alexandria Blizzard 12: Ian Ecklund started the month of November on the right foot as he led the Alexandria Blizzard to a 12-2 lead over the Twin City Steel with a 5-point night. Ecklund scored the first goal of the night and added two assists to his total in the first period before finishing the game with 5 points. Metro Jets 0 @ Flint Junior Generals 4: Nathan Klebe had an relatively easy night as he shutout the Metro Jets with only 10 saves in a 4-0 win for the Flint Junior Generals. Breezy Point North Stars 2 @ Granite City Lumberjacks 5: A pair of goals from Kyle Whipple was not enough to take down the Granite City Lumberjacks as they downed the Breezy Point North Stars 5-2. Breezy Point forward Whipple scored back to back goals in the second and third period to stop a short Lumberjacks run but was interrupted by a goal from Travis Kothenbeutel that gave Granite City the lead for the rest of the game. St. Louis Jr. Blues 3 @ North Iowa Bulls 4 (SO): Clint Steinmeyer couldn’t stop Richie Marenis as Marenis scored in the shootout to top the Jr. Blues 4-3 in a spirited contest. Steinmeyer was the star of the game stopping 43 shots from the undefeated North Iowa Bulls but it was Marenis who scored the game winning shootout goal on top of his goal during regulation time that keep the Bulls at an undefeated record.
